Vic just showed off her Spring 2011 collection during New York Fashion Week and it got rave reviews. Before her presentation she was a bit nervous Tweeting, “About to go!!!! Excited!!! Nervous!!!! X VB x” but everything seemed to go extremely well for the designer.
“What’s alluring for me this season are the curves of a women’s figure–sensual volume and a defined silhouette that allows for a freedom of movement,” Victoria told InStyle.com.
Aside from the fabulous dresses, she also showed off her brand new line of handbags. Vic is pretty confident with her handbag collection even comparing it to the Hermes Birkin bag.
“A Beckham can replace your Birkin,” Posh was overheard saying at the presentation.
Stars like Cameron Diaz, Blake Lively, Jennifer Hudson and many more love Victoria Beckham dresses which can range up to $3000 so we’re sure her handbags will be as successful as her dresses.

I read from Grazia Magazine that Victoria said such thing that her bags gonna replace the birkin and I was wondering are those people who usually pays for birkins...will they willing to pay for the Beckham's bag? I mean after Victoria said A beckham can replace your birkin isn't it sound so ridicolous? Ok I admit that the beckham's nag is nice especially the pink one lol but givind this kind of interview to show her pride is not good for her image right? But think again I think Victoria is well-known for the classy bitchy kinda things so maybe some people might don't care and pay for her bags. The next funny things is in Grazia they claim that Victoria wants to be a co-designer of the limited ediotion birkins bag or something special about her beloved birkins...I think it's really funny. But the funniest thing is when I try to serch more about this news I found out that she claims she did't said that LOL
When Victoria Beckham was quoted everywhere on Thursday, supposedly bragging of her label's new bag collection 'a Beckham can replace your Birkin,' she was a tad embarrassed to say the least, now swearing that she said no such thing. 'silly stories, where do they come from?' Beckham pondered in WWD. Anyone who knows anything about VB knows the strength of her devotion to the classic Hermes handbags – hasn’t she got, like, one in every colour, all stored in a huge temperature controlled wing of Beckingham towers? But we digress. She confirmed that 'I have enormous respect and admiration for Hermès so to read "Beckham is the new Birkin" is yet another totally ridiculous tabloid fabrication. I will not be trading in my Birkin! However, I will be carrying my own line of handbags as well!' Well then, that’s set the record straight.

lol i still think this is so ridiculous... i mean already i dont care about a birkin bag (yes, i said it) ... if i have to wait a year or whatever for something to put my shit in id say screw you ,and victoria beckham thinks she could be more worthy than that? she needs to take 10 steps back.
